For sellers
A car, a phone, a watch, or half your apartment before a move. The hard part of selling is always the same: what is it really worth, and who will actually show up? A live auction answers both.
- 01
Buyers compete. Your price climbs.
A fixed price is a guess. An auction is the market telling you what your item is worth today.
- 02
2.5%, only if it sells.
On your reserve or starting price, fixed when you post. If bidding goes higher, every extra dollar is yours.
- 03
A deadline, not “someday”.
When the clock hits zero you have a winner who already committed money. List today, sell this week.
- 04
Your record sells for you.
Every completed sale builds your public record. Good sellers become visibly good, and attract more bidders.
Selling, step by step
- 1
Post in minutes
Up to 8 photos and a 60-second video. Write an honest description and pick when the auction ends.
- 2
Set your prices
A starting price, plus an optional reserve (the lowest price you’ll accept, shown or kept private) and an optional Buy Now price for anyone who doesn’t want to wait.
- 3
Watch it run
Your lot goes live in the feed. Every leading bid has money held behind it, and late bids add time so you never lose value to a sniper.
- 4
Meet your winner
When the clock ends, chat with the winner in the app and meet within 72 hours. Get paid in person, both confirm, done.
Verify once, stand out for good
Verify your identity with a quick live ID photo in the app. It isn’t required to post, but verified sellers get a check next to their name and a boost to their standing, and buyers notice.
What it costs
2.5% of your reserve, or of your starting price if you don’t set one. It’s held when you post.
Sells: that hold is the fee. Doesn’t sell: it comes back to you. Cancel a live auction: the fee is kept, because bidders showed up for it.
- HyperBidz fee if it sells (2.5%)
- $31.25
- If it doesn’t sell
- $0. The hold comes back
- If bidding goes higher
- Your fee stays the same
The item price is paid between buyer and seller, in person. HyperBidz never touches it.
